DIRECTOR or PASTOR OF MISSION?S & WITHOUT WALLS (LOCAL COMMUNITIES) OUTREACH MINISTRIES in Carlsbad, CA, California

General Description
? Overall responsibility to direct and oversee the Mission?s and Without Walls ministries and work within the vision of North Coast Calvary Chapel.

Specific Duties and Responsibilities
? Working directly with the Mission?s Committee to develop budget and policy for the Mission?s ministry
? Communicating the vision, philosophy and theology of our mission?s ministry to our church members, ministries and contacts
? Developing further partnerships with our existing mission?s partners in the networking of mission?s ministry
? Developing partnerships with the local community
? Overseeing and mobilizing NCCC to meet the needs of the local community in relevant and effective ways
- Networking and communication with all our ministries and church to make aware the opportunities and to mobilize and activate our church
- Develop a ?serving grid? that matches up opportunities with interests
- Develop on-line systems (Facebook, Twitter, web-site etc)
? Training of our church how to effectively minister in the community in a manner that serves as a bridge to the church and is line with NCCC values
- Creating working templates, ?How To Manuals?, for opportunities that exist in reaching out to our community to help ensure no one ?feels? disqualified
- Train our church to reach out and invite the people in their ?sphere?s of influence? to join in
? Creating a working committee formed from the various streams of culture in our community to serve as a steering committee
? Creating forums for members of NCCC and the community to engage in discussions on issues that matter
? Working with the NCCC ministries to further involve them in mission?s work and to help equip them for mission?s ministry, both locally and internationally
? Developing Short-term Missions for our church body (Setting up and running trips, education and training, and trip protocol)
? Evaluating short-term missions requests for financial assistance
? Working with our Mission?s Representatives ?Reps? (Recruiting, training & developing, evaluating, organizing and communication)
? Networking with other local churches developing partnering opportunities
? Developing NCCC Mission?s Education curriculum

Personal Relations
? Directly reports to the Senior Pastor/Executive Pastor
? Is a voting member of the Mission?s Committee
? Works directly with the Mission?s Committee to accomplish Primary Responsibilities
? Works directly with the Pastors/Directors creating opportunities for their ministries

Work Environment
? Local and international travel required (up to 50%)

Education
? Bachelors Degree required, post work preferred
