Background & Education: ? 4-yr college degree ? Minimum of 5-8 years prior experience in consumer package goods sales environment ? Prior experience in direct customer sales, business analytics, and/or category management ? Prior confectionery experience is beneficial, yet not required ? An MBA is a plus Required Skills/Abilities: ? Possess strong analytical rigor using variety of CPG industry syndicated tools including IRI, Nielsen, shopper data, consumer insights, focus groups, government and industry research, etc. ? Able to draw insights and formulate compelling stories that drive action and deliver results. ? Uses facts and data analysis to identify best options and make/implement quality decisions. ? Able to positively influence decision-makers across organizational levels, with and without authority, to drive alignment and achieve business objectives. ? Helps penetrate appropriate members, customer, and internal functions to achieve maximum results supporting the growth of confectionery category across channels. ? Evidence of leadership at customers, with team members and among internal business partners. ? Proficient communication and negotiation skills to solve problems, to inform, and to gain agreement with, while supporting long-term objectives. ? Ability to manage simultaneous projects to expectations of team, members, and customers. ? Ability to devise and deliver persuasive presentations, based on data-driven insights, to gain support for business strategies both with customers and internal business partners. ? Demonstrates and effectively applies consumer industry and cross-category knowledge & expertise. ? Acts with urgency to make the most of opportunities, address customer needs and accomplish goals and objectives ? Ability to complete projects and follow processes to manage results achievement. ? Ability to plan strategically and tacitly to support broader association and group objectives. ? Ability to manage funds and resources for the greatest return on investment for the association ? Able to identify and assess risks, prioritize competing resource demands, and apply tools to maximize productivity
