DWI victim's family speak out against New Mexico epidemic

New Mexico?s DWI epidemic seems never ending.

Last week, a Four Corners family learned the hard way when of their family members was killed by a suspected drunk driver on the Navajo Reservation between Shiprock and Farmington.

Herman Willeto, 52, was on his way home when he was hit by Jervis Wilson, the Navajo Nation Police Department said.

Wilson was reportedly twice above the legal limit.

He faces DWI and involuntary manslaughter charges.

?It really breaks my heart,? Willeto?s wife Priscilla Jose said. "I really miss him and I just want him to come back to me, but he's gone."

Willeto is survived by his mother, five siblings, nine children and 18 grandchildren.
