University IT offers countdown of top 10 scariest technology threats

With Halloween approaching, members of the University of Delaware campus community are reminded that not knowing how to keep their computers and data safe can cause nightmarish problems.

4:24 p.m., Oct. 26, 2012--With Halloween approaching, members of the University of Delaware campus community are reminded that not knowing how to keep their computers and data safe can cause nightmarish problems.

LearnIT Express will air a 15-minute special Halloween presentation, ?Avoid Getting Stuck in Computer Frightland,? on Wednesday, Oct. 31, at 4 p.m.

UD's Jorge Cubillos is helping students to stay connected with one another through Facebook Groups and to demonstrate their language proficiency through multimedia projects posted to a blog.

Information Technologies (IT) will feature a countdown of the top 10 scariest technology threats to you, your computer and your information. Be prepared for spooky animation and Halloween music. Chat live with IT staff during the webcast.
