With the recent announcement of a GoTG movie coming in 2014, I've had a renewed interest in making this into an RP. For those of you who don't know, the current Guardians of the Galaxy is a rag-tag team of proactive individuals from the Marvel cosmic universe, formed by a man named Star-Lord to protect the universe. Imagine the X-men or Avengers meets a Marvel-themed Space Opera.
I plan to have the story well-established after everything that has happened in the comic, centralized on expansion and recruitment in lieu of a new threat in the universe. This will enable people who have not followed GoTG to create their own character and not worry too much about past events. Any takers?
